The Games I played the most as a child

The video game industry is excelling currently, and that wouldn't happen without consumers buying the products that the companies put out. There are millions of gamers out there, and everyone has their personal biases about what their favorite games are. Part of which may have to do with the first games they played which can give a feel of nostalgia, because everyone starts somewhere. So, I'll state the games that I spent the most time on growing up, and I just might state what my favorite game of all time is.

The Nintendo Gamecube

A system that I had growing up was the Nintendo Gamecube, which is console that the three games I played the most are on. Certainly the gamecube has many household titles such as Super Smash Bros. Melee, Metroid Prime, Super Mario Sunshine, and more, but none of these games are the three that I played the most as a child (though I did play melee a little). In order to buy new games, my brothers often sold some of the games they had beaten, but luckily the three games I played the most were not sold. Even if they were though, the Dolphin Emulator is a tool used to emulate gamecube/wii games, so these old games and more can still be enjoyed by fans without having an actual gamecube.

• The top 3 selling gamecube games (by sales) are:

Super Smash Bros Melee	7.07 million
Mario Kart: Double Dash	6.95 million
Super Mario Sunshine	6.31 million

• Despite being more appreciated nowadays by fans, the gamecube was not as popular when it was still active and could be considered by some as a failure.
• Disks only allowed for a little over 1.6 gigabytes per game, unless multiple disks were used for one game.
